Ruby Range Outfitting Area has the highest concentration of Dall Sheep in Yukon per square mile. It may be the smallest concession in the Territory, but it is all prime sheep habitat. Ruby Range is also known for some of the easiest sheep terrain out there. The horse trails frequently go right on top of the mountains.

During our 8-9 day horseback hunts, hunters will encounter a large amount of sheep and look over many mature rams. Virtually 100 % of our hunters are successful in taking their trophy Dall. We offer one Spring Grizzly hunt and a few Moose permits every year. Black Bears, Wolves, Wolverines and Coyotes are included in the season.

Ruby Range has six comfortable cabin camps spread out evenly throughout the area, 3-4 hours ride apart. The 4 smaller camps are equipped with wood heaters and propane lights while Base Camp has hot showers, laundry facilities, fridge, freezer, boats, canoes and fishing gear. The opportunities for Lake Trout and Greyling are top notch.
